These shapes are tubes we've used on other models that we know to have various qualities-aerodynamic, stiff, ultralight, etc.-and they help get us to the refinement stage on a bike more quickly. In the case of Caledonia, we wanted durability, lightweight, and aerodynamics to be in balance and selected a package that achieved the performance demands of this kind of race bike. Caledonia uses a standard round bar, stem, and seat post, giving riders the option to build their ultimate ride without compromise. Integrated accessory mounts and hidden fender mounts keep the bike's refined lines so you can ride with lights and computers in a downpour and still look fast. Because we all know if it looks fast, it probably is. Rather than designing multiple versions of the bike with various fit profiles (R5, R-Series, etc.) like we've done in the past, we designed a system that enables a broad range of fits on a single bike while maintaining the aesthetic and functional cleanliness we demand. Modern road riders are looking for bikes to handle long-distance, high pace, no limits, and offer maximum fun. This allows for easy replacement in the event of damage but also enables you to adapt to new standards as they become available or remove the front derailleur mount completely if you choose a 1x system. - Integrated Accessory Mounts Integrated mounts enable the use of fenders, lights, and computers without compromising the aerodynamics or structure of your bike. The built-in mount systems provide a simple and clean-looking solution.

The Soloist. It's a name from deep in our history, but immediately familiar to anyone with bike racing memories extending back to the early-2000s. It was the weapon of choice for top World Tour contenders on CSC and the Cervelo Test Team, and we're bringing it back for a new generation. The new Soloist is designed for the week-in, week-out rider and racer who can only justify one high-performance bike. It balances light weight and aerodynamic advantages to deliver a bike that really is 'just right'. Soloist comes in a hair lighter than S5, but significantly more aerodynamic than R5, and borrows the threaded bottom bracket standard you find on the R5-CX. It's a race bike that can accommodate mechanical and electronic shifting, can hammer out the training miles in all weather, and yet still has the chops to leap off the front at that decisive moment. A NEW BIKE FOR CLASSIC RIDES We don't see road bikes as delicate machines meant only for putting watts into and receiving speed from. They're an extension of our soul, of the way we want to see our worlds, and the lives we want to live. Sometimes that means cutting across park grass, and sometimes it's seeing where that dirt road off to the left leads you. The Caledonia-5 is a bike for the modern road rider. The Caledonia is the bike we keep reaching for when we know the odometer's going well past the triple-digit mark. Long rides invariably have some smooth tarmac, some junk pavement over backroads, a cutty singletrack connector, and maybe even your own local Strade Bianche sector. So we built a bike that could take on all of them, do it well, and fit fenders in case the ominous clouds turn into a downpour 130km into your day. We developed the Caledonia-5 in collaboration with our World Tour riders to satisfy the need for a dedicated cobbles bike. Faster handling isn't necessarily better-we engineered the handling based on the specific use-case. In this case, it's Roubaix. Roubaix is harder on bikes than any other race on the calendar, and there's zero margin for error. We increased the rear center, lowered the BB, and increased the trail. We designed our Earth Cruisers to be kinder, gentler versions of our sport comfort bikes. They're simplified with easy-to-use coaster brake drivetrains without the complications of derailleurs or hand brakes to fiddle around with. In spite of their name, they're not just for riding at the beach. They're for any rider anywhere looking for a simple, lightweight, low-maintenance, good-looking bike they can casually and comfortably pedal around town all day, every day. LOOKS GREAT TODAY & TOMORROW Many of the parts specified on our Earth Cruisers are made of aluminum to save weight, but also to help preserve the finish of the bike. Aluminum parts include the seat post, seat clamp, stem, rims, front hub, and kickstand. COMFORTABLE STEERING Our cruise-control handlebars were designed to promote a comfortable no-weight-on-the-wrists riding position. With just the right sweep and rise, these handlebars meet the rider's hands without requiring a forward bend at the waist, relieving pressure on the back of the neck. Handlebar width has also been carefully calculated so that when steered from left to right it does not contact the rider, unlike many other cruiser-style handlebars. MEMORY FOAM SADDLE Our Earth Cruiser saddles are not just great looking, they're extraordinarily comfortable as well. Though the size and shape is clearly generous, we've also molded a channel into the top of the saddle to relieve sitting pressure and use high-quality polyurethane foam for the supporting mattress. SMOOTH ROLLING TIRES Our comfort tires have been designed to roll smoothly on pavement, but offer a large 2.125" footprint so that rides on park paths can be managed securely. The additional benefit of that big footprint is larger air volume in the tire and tube, which results in lower air pressure for a more comfortable ride than tires with smaller volumes and higher air pressures. NO-SLIP PEDALS Our Earth Cruisers' pedals offer a thermoplastic elastomer insert on both sides of the pedal surface that keeps shoes and sandals from slipping when soles or pedals get wet. These inserts also make barefoot pedaling comfortable.

Boss Coaster is what we’d call seriously casual— designed to be low maintenance, built for comfort, but with the durability to be ridden every day for years. ALLOY MAINFRAME We used lightweight and corrosion-resistant 6061 aluminum for the mainframe of our Taxi Trike, while many others use heavier steel frames. By utilizing aluminum tubing, we can shape the tubes to feature a low step-thru for easy access without having a gusset that hinders access. SEMI-INTEGRATED HEADSET The semi-integrated headset bearings sit inside the head tube with no external cups to expose, while the top cone features an additional rubber 5 seal to keep out the elements. CRUISER PLATFORM PEDALS WITH GRIP TAPE AND RUSTLESS BUSHINGS The wide and flat surface of our Cruiser pedals are ideal for riding in flip flops, with grip tape in the center for extra control. The bushings are a big deal for durability. The ball bearings in regular pedals oxidize and degrade FAST in a coastal environment—from salt-water contamination or from rides in inclement weather. ALLOY 3 PIECE CRANKS + SEALED CARTRIDGE BB Most tricycles use "old school" steel 1-piece cranks with caged or loose ball bottom brackets, but not our Taxi Trike! The Taxi trike uses alloy crank arms for superior corrosion resistance and a sealed cartridge bottom bracket for enhanced durability and lower maintenance. FRONT AND REAR BRAKES Trikes are heavier than traditional bicycles, and handle completely differently so stopping power is a must. Unlike many trikes on the market, the Taxi trike has both front AND rear brakes for the right amount of modulation and power. The front brake is also equipped with "parking brake" functionality for when you arrive at your destination. ADVENTURE FRAME DESIGN Starting with a wide and consistent stack and reach range, we set out to design a frame that could handle on or off road conditions while maintaining a comfortable and consistent ride. As you start to review the geo chart you will notice we have 3 different fork offsets, BB drops and rear center measurements depending on frame size. This is unique. We set out to ensure every Renegade rider will experience the ultimate in adventure bike performance regardless of their frame size. Most of our competitors simply design one fork and strap it to every frame size. While this may work just fine for a bicycle that's designed to be ridden with a single tire size (think a road racing bike), it significantly impacts the handling and ride quality of an adventure bike when swapping out your 28's for 32s, 40s or even 47mm tires. Add size specific tubing, where we vary the diameter of the frame tubing depending on frame size and 2 different sized rear triangles and you have what we feel is the perfect adventure geometry for all sized riders and the best riding adventure bike period.
